  • Pump for Python

I am looking for a pump to speed up my water changes does anyone know of a pump that I could hook up to a python?

    What size tank(s)?

I would get a length of 3/4" or 1"OD tubing for draining, and use the python to fill. You'll be able to drain fast with the larger diameter hose & also fill at the same time with the python.

That's what I was thinking as well but I heard someone on here was able to hook up a pvc water changer thing that had a pump connected to it or something like that

Fshfrk made a T with a maxijet on it to start the siphon.

But other than that you could use any pump with the appropriate fitting to pump water out.

mag9 is my fav but any will do.

This cost me more than a mag9

But yes this is the best route, drains like no other.
