  • Suggestions for disposable CO2 Cartridge setup

Any suggestions/recommendations on a disposable CO2 cartridge setup? $60 would be the max. Not looking to break bank on an ADA setup. Just something nice and simple. If it comes with diffuser, bubble counter, and regulator, that's a bonus.

It's going on a 2.5 liter tank, so I'd rather not get a real setup or a paintball setup. DIY CO2 water bottles are out of the question.

I'm somewhat leaning toward the ITSA 45g setup right now. Comes with 3-in-1 Bubble counter, diffuser, check valve, stand, cartridge, tubing, and regulator. Been reading a lot how the Fluval ones are trash and are passive diffusion instead of active diffusion.

Lol. I'm new to CO2 as well. I wanna try it on this tank because there's no fish or shrimp in it, so I can't kill anything

My biggest concern in the paintball CO2 set ups would be the issue with it lacking a Ph monitor. theoretically with a low enough injection rate you could avoid the possibility of it crashing out the Ph. My recommendation would be to start with a very low BPM rate and increase it slowly. A solenoid would be helpful as well to open it when the lights are on and shut it off when they are off.

I'm not going to even attempt to try a paintball setup. For the little tank, I'm going with the disposable cartridge stuff for now. My bigger tanks I'll probably get an actual setup.
