Marineland 350 or Aqua Clear 30 + lighting

Hello I'm planning on buying a aqueon 30 gallon breeder or a regular aqueon 30, maybe a 40 breeder if the price is good. Anyways, I have a marineland 350 with dual bio wheels and then a aqua clear 30, which I ran on my top fin 30. Is there a certain type of filter that would work best for these tanks? And these 3 tanks are 36" length, I ran a aqueon dual t-5 lighting system but its on 30

40b should still be on sale for a few more days at petco $1 per gallon....also when i ran a 29 last i had a marineland tidepool on it rated i believe for 60 gallons and biowheel hob and an ehiem 2213 way over filtration but my boy had a bunch of yellow labs and others in the tank

Also i like the ac filters way better than the biowheels

yes it all depends what kind of bio load the tank will have rule of thumb i go buy is to turn the water over atleast 10 times per hour imo

I'm going to stock 2 blue rams and a bunch of neon tetras. And something else I just don't know what, where can I find a top for the 40 breeder? It's a glass top correct? And will my dual t-5 30" do fine for the length of the tank which is 36"

they make glass tops for 40g breeders call around. I bet city pets has it. the light will work on a glass top.
I like the aquae clear better but either will work fine.
Rams like flow and low light but they are also geophagus. So they like fine sand to sift through. high flow and fine sand don't do well together.
