  • CO2 refill spots?

So I've found a few places scattered on the forum, and I know of a number of places on the SW side of town. Any shops to refill CO2 on the Northwest side?

If the co2 bottle's inspection isn't expired any welding shop will exchange your empty bottle for a full one...

There is a air gas location on Aldine bender that has a fill plant. I use to use the south loop location for co2. It was like 8.00 for a 5 pound bottle.

Please clarify what welding shops. I asked a few near me and they said that don't do exchanges nor do they fill CO2

There are a few spots up in the Spring Woodlands area. Also try some home Beer/brewing specialty stores, they use it to carbonate home brewed beer kegs and can do it as well.

Spring woodlands area is a bit far from me, but I'll check out some of those specialty stores.

I remember one being off Veteran's Memorial and 1960 awhile ago. Apparently Sports Authority and Academy both refill Paintball tanks, so that might be another option. I'd be sure and call first though.

No idea. Airgas is the best so I look no further.
