Review: Elos Equilibrium Internal Filter

So, I got some new gear for my elos 120p zebra pleco tank. I thought the tank needed an internal filter, but I haven't ran one since I was a kid, LOL. Didn't really know which ones are the best ones, but I figured if I'm run an internal filter it got to be a cool one! :)

I bumped upon an opportunity to buy an elos equilibrium internal filter. Also, I believe this filter has been discontinued. Be as it may, below are some pictures of the internal filter. I haven't completely installed it yet. More pictures will come once I get it up and running, and I will right a short review on how I think it runs.

But which eheim are you referring to?

Can't find the model but it was the size of a phonebook, had chambers that actually fluctuated to "oxygenate" before returning to the tank.

Yeah, that's basically how it works.

I ran a test run with a maxi jet but wasn't happy with the way Elos designed the multiple water outlets. I'm block them all up except the one that runs the water past the last "overflow" type grill.

That should give it maximum oxygenation.

Ohhhh, I'm put a eheim on it.

The maxi jet was just a test run.

I have two eheim pumps at hong house down SE.

One is the 1250 the the other is the compact 1000.

I'm try both and see which eheim I like better on it.
