Right on, with Suki in the tank there is nothing 'small' enough in it to fit inside the cages I imagine. Giant Danios and 5-6" SAE are the only inhabitants in the tank. I imagine Suki is a bit too large to get caught in it, lol.

Koralia has a better "spread" of flow compared to the aqueons as well. Flow exits the pump in an ever widening cone which covers more of your tank. My experience of the aqueons in a reef tank says that they're very laminar in that they create a good strong straight line of flow, but outside of that line barely any movement at all

This is true, but not necessarily a bad thing, just have to select the proper flow pattern to match the tank. Even with a narrow flow pattern, the Aqueons still have strong enough flow back that pulls out detritus. I like Aqueon pumps for tanks 4ft or longer for the "reach" they have. Koralias are better suited for tanks shorter than 6ft IMHO. Vortechs have the shortest reach of the three but the widest flow pattern IME. Even the MP60 tends to peter out around 4.5 - 5 ft.

If you go for koralia, save yourself some money and get a SunSun powerhead. Built very similar for less than half the price. Very reliable so far. I have two 3200gph SunSun powerheads on each side of my tank. I plan to eventually hook them up to a wavemaker to make the plants sway. I want to save to get the bigger tunze powerheads, but for now I have to make do with what I have.

The only con to the SunSun. Powerhead is the short power cable.
