Tanks Almost Ready to Set-Up....Any Suggestions or Advice?

Have almost everything. Just need to pick up my 30L and one filter, first of next week. As I list my tanks and equipment, if you see anything I should change or add, please let me know.

55gallon: Penguin 350 filter
             Heater
             Dual air pump for bubble wall
             Dual canopy w/ florscent bulbs

30L: Tetra Whisper 60 filter
       need heater
       need air pump
       Florescent light

20L: Whisper filter for 10-30 gallons
      Heater for 15 gallon tank
      Pump for 20 gallon
      need canopy w/lights

55 will hold my Oscars; various colors
30L will hold my Discs; various colors
20L will be for my oddballs

Went by Mike's shop and picked up 50 pounds of small gravel/stone for the 55.
When I picked up the 20L, it had this very dark gray, sparkly stuff on the bottom. A bit more course than sand. Guy said it was expensive stuff. I thought that and some of my clear/blue glass marbles would look nice with the Discs.
Not sure yet what I'll use in the 20L.

Don't think I've forgotten anything. Comments welcomed and appreciated. Just want to have everything correct before I start filling with water.

Discs? Discus? A 30L is too small for discus, maybe 1, possibly 2 small discus might be alright for a while.

Oscars as long as you understand they will outgrow the 55 too....  Oscars are very intelligent fish but you will need to pair them up with a minimum two to make them happy..   Problem is that a pair of Oscar's will outgrow a 55 in about a year :(

Well, it's just after 6 PM and I have the 55 and 20L up and running. I really, really like the 55 I got with everything but water, fish and filter. I love the 350 filter I bought at Mike's but not real keen on the Whisper (canister) in the 20L. It's going to be real tough finding a lighted canopy to fit around it. When I get all done setting up the three new tanks, I'll have a 14 to find a good home for.

Tanks everyone for your info, suggestions and support. Can't wait until I can drop a few fish in.

I didn't know Whisper made a canister filter...I'll go look it up. Is it a weird shape or something? Usually a canister won't be in the way of anything on the tank...hmm..
