Rena: No, price is too high and I've heard nothing but bad things about them.
Aqueon: Yes, returned a 10g filter after I could hear it in a room that had at least five marine land filters of 20+ capacities. -

I have not tried these filters. I would say however, that I believe the best HOB filter in the market is made by AquaClear380G For Sale $3000 Acrylic tank & stand
