    Rena Filstar - Replacement Parts?

    Anyone seen in town a replacement impeller and shaft for Filstar XP4?

    My Girlfriend cleaned my tank ...while I was at work... and the intake fell off, and the thing ran dry for a couple hours...

    Now I need a new one...impeller shaft assembly that is...  8)

          Yeah I told her how to unplug powerheads and stuff, and how far to drain each tank down too, and how much prime to use, and how far to fill it up...

          What I did not account for was while it was draining she is in the bedroom watching movies n stuff...then calls me at work after several hours of the thing making noise to tell me about it... :doh:

            Well I went to City Pets today :(  Bad news..  they dont carry the part.
            They recommend getting them online :(

                      I found a place online that sells the parts you are looking for.
                      From the looks of the parts for an XP4 (3 blade impeller) they do NOT look the same as an XP1 (6 blade impeller)

                            I am going to place a order tomorrow for a replacement impeller assembly on my XP4, grab a new case o-ring, and some suction cups.

                            Anyone looking to upgrade their XP3 to XP4 or something might want to take a look.
