Re: ReefKeeper 2
Hellz yeah!
I have one and it's awesome! used it on my Ilangi tank for a little while but then moved it over to my 30g reef cause that tank benefitted a lot more from it.
Things I used on it that was awesome!...
Moonlight control
Dawn/Dust lighting (Actinics)
Daylight (metal Halide)
pH control (accurately measures pH and you can set one of the channels to control something based off of pH)
Temp timers on all channels of light... so if the water got too hot it would turn off lights.
Temp probe that was a sub feature of a lot of other channels outside of Heater and Chiller
Heater function which would turn on/off heater at set temp and gave a fluctuation limit
Chiller function which I used to run fans to keep it from getting too warm in the tank(my tank ran at 96f with lights)
Again the last two functions had not only on/off temp settings but a set fluctuation adjustment so the two kept temps within 0.2 of a deg of each other.
Feeding mode which with a push of a button will turn of set channels for the time frame you set it to.
Pump functions which you could set to turn on/off at set times
Wave maker function that will pulse/alternate at any sequence you set it to.
It also comes with the ReefLogger or something like that and if you hook it up to your comp or through wifi you can log your daily parameters, graph them and even set up an email function so that it emails you if the parameters stray outside the set limits.
It is an awesome tool and any tank will benefit from it! Cheap too for what you are getting!700g Mini-Monster tank
