Not at all.

I'm saying the current tank inhabitants will have every potential to reach their full adult sizes and that the filtration I have now is more than adequate now, and no reason to believe it will not also be when they are full grown.

ok...but  I have 2 2262's and a huge wet dry off a 700 gallon system. I want no noise so I'm designing some stuff to take care of that now.

Durso pipes and under power that wet/dry. That will kill all if not, most the noise from the wet/dry.

well...you know I'm running druso's but pump noise. Looking at a red dragon submersible pump right now.

2x 1062's will be dead silent and not too under powered for one of those nasty big ADG wet/dry's!

When you underpower it you lose the "waterfall" noise. Did this on my 30g.

but we looking at a tank thats close to 17 times as big as your 30

Yes along with a sump/overflow that is about that much bigger too.

So when you put it on a scale it would be equivalent.

I ran a 1250 on my 30g you run 2x 1262's.
