so I took one of my aquaclear 110's tubing off today to clean it real good and put it back on and everything was running fine. now all of a sudden its not sucking up any water. any reason this is happening...

yeah i filled the chamber. maybe when i was putting in the tube again. if i did do i just push it back down or something.250gallon-Wild Angels, communityComment

Sometimes I have to push the impeller down to get it to start back up, and sometimes pouring water directly onto it works.So many things can be a mystery, when all we're seeking is freedom...

A) the impeller bushings are not seated properly and the impeller is not turning
B) the impeller came lose from the magnet and the magnet turns but not the impeller
C) there is no water around the impeller and it needs to be primed
D) the sections of the intake tube are not air tight and it is sucking air in.
E) the intake tube is not seated properly and the impeller can not draw water in.
