  • biocube pump question

    how can i turn down the flow on the biocube?  if i got a smaller pump would the overflow and all still work right or what?  what if i put a T on the output and poored half of it back in the sump?  any ideas?

    I assume it is a magnetic drive pump and you can restrict the flow without damaging the pump.
    If that is the case all you need to do is put a clamp on the tube between the pump and the output.

    or you can punch a few holes in the tube to let some water out...............

      Changing the flow rate will not effect the overflow's function... it will however slow down the overflow process.

      Pick up a mini-jet 404 or the like... those have flow control and small.
