I just recently switched to Prime in the last 2 years and not had any problems, but Im not performing 90% water changes.
The 90% Hot water change could have been the ajor issue.
How long you've had these fish, and how often have you water changed them just like this?Last edited by geoff_tropheus; 03-02-2009, 02:00 AM.380G For Sale $3000 Acrylic tank & stand

One of my friends did a waterchange for me this past weekend. I forgot to tell them about the temperature and needing to add some hot water to help balance it somewhat.
The tanks were all in the mid 60's. I told her to turn off all the ceiling fans and the AC and turn on all the lights to get the temperature back up.
This was Friday. Several of those tanks are just barely back into the mid-70's. I dont run heaters but in a few tanks. Those are back to 78-80.
The key with temperature is to do it slowly. I have experienced where my fish get eye cloud, from when I jacked up the temperautre to almost 90 and then all I did was turn off the heater. It cooled down within a couple hours to 78 and a number of them came down over the next few days with eye cloud.
I spent almost 3-4 days jacking the temperautre up that high.380G For Sale $3000 Acrylic tank & stand
