cut it to 3x due to busy work schedule. I will maintain this as long as they are happy. is the times of feeding per day as important as the amount of actual food given. Does it matter if I feed them 3 teaspoons a day during 4-5 feedings, compared to 3 teaspoons during lets says 2x per day feeding. I scoop/measure all the food I give them with an actual teaspoon

both my colonies get fed 8 times a day but just a little at a time.

It does matter the amount per feeding since their digestive system can only take so much at once and spreading it out through multiple feedings will allow for thorough digestion.

Who told you to feed that much? I know when you asked me I told you how much I was feeding and stated that you should start slow and small amounts and build up to more.

Also with new fish you have to let them settle down from the trip.

yeah they are settling in nice now. I must have misread your suggestion. They are eating almost 3-4 teaspoons right now.
