      Teddy,

Underneath my name in my posts is a Tropheus Moorii Chilambo, and the fish in my signature is a Xenotilapia spilopterus Kipili.
Both fish, if you want to keep them will force you to move into tank sizes (Tropheus and Xenotilapia min tank size is 300L) These fish cannot live in the same tank unless you get a monster tank because the Tropheus are WAY to disturbing to the Xeno's) Both Tropheus and Xeno's work best when they are together with their own kind and you should keep a min of 12-16 to make them feel ok. Xeno's are easily disturbed. Turning on and off the lights makes them go haywire for 3-5 seconds. Something I am hoping I am going to fix next month when I move them into a bigger tank with more stuff around them to feel safe...

Back to the question of Kribs... you can keep more of them, but when it comes to spawning time they want more territory so they can move their young around the tank. This is when you see the aggression increase and they will fight... Right now you have two females and a male, you are safe.. Kribs males are somewhat loyal to their mate, but its been observed if a mate does not want to lay eggs, him leaving for another girl. Offspring can be sold off to other fish keepers after about 3 months of age, keeping them in your tank there will always be a few survivors. You can keep them in there until they start showing their breeding colors which will happen about 6 months in the tank. At this point you might have problems from the alpha male.

Re: Why have my fish been dying

          Cheers zulaab

Love the look off the fish in your signiture but not able to have such a big tank so that's no good for me. That's the kinda shape and look I like though

Will take your advice on the kribs and try to breed more a see how it goes .. Getting a plant pot tomo so fingers crossed

Is there any tips on getting them to breed that I should no , or is it a case of keeping water quality good and hoping it works out.

            Teddy,

Water changes, doing 50% water changes a week, have an overturned flowerpot with a hole in the side for them to come in and out of. They will breed without any more help than that.
Their young will take crushed flake as soon as they are born.

            Keep smiling
            Jesper
