What I would do is just keep an eye on it for now. Obviously, super clean water, a little salt, and add some vitamins to their food if you have some. If it's a tumor, meds won't do anything anyway. Keep us updated on any change in the appearance or his behavior. This is an interesting ailment.Our Fishhouse

I have seen HITH before, and this looks nothing like the HITH I have seen on Malawi fish (now this is a tang Xeno) and its the only one effected by it.
Like Traci said... its right on the nostril. Wondering if its a Bacterial infection more than anything else.
Because its a dark spot under neath it I am thinking blood is under the skin which shows usually a bacterial infection.
I need to get a small QT tank again setup in my room or something so I can QT the guy and attempt to fix him up.
