bloat?!

i saw this little guy the other day sittin in the corner of the tank by himself. i didnt really pay attention to him but this morning i notice he has this "stringy" clear poo looking thing and he swims kinda awkward. he doesnt look as big as the other ones too. comments on what i should do with him and do you guys think he has bloat? i havent had the chance to see if he eats yet, but ill see later.

I would say "Yes" that fry has Bloat. Treat them now or you will lose a lot of them. Fry fall like flies when this goes on too long. Good Luck!

i fed em NLS grow 2-3x a day. i used jungle internal parasite in the tank and decided to get rid of that weak fry. i believe he was a weak fry because he was smallest and skinniest, everyone else in the tank is fine. i bought 15 more from newb and threw em in with the group. up to 36 in a 75. everything looks fine as of today, with the weak fry gone..everyone seems to be normal. not sure about water quality, but i do water changes 1-2 times a weekly with eheim 2028, ac 110, eheim ecco 2036; pretty sure everything is in line.

Gone as in dead or gone and as in a QT tank?

I was interested in knowing what your nitirite, nitrate level, and ph of your tank was.

Also it was important to know what food you were feeding but if all these came from Randall, then NLS should be fine.

How often are you feeding?

the can't miss sign for me is when they start "chewing" the water and look like they're trying to throw something up randomly.

gone as in i kinda flushed it. i know its cruel..but didnt look like he woulda made it and he looked like he shoulda been culled anyway. i didnt want to take the risk of disturbing the colony. as of right now, i do not have a test kit. i feed them most of the time 2x a day with NLS grow which he used to do since they were young.

they actually make my old guys come out and swim ALOT more. i see everyone schooling together now. kinda weird but i really like it lol.
