Also, I second what Enin said. If you do plan to get a bristlenose or three, quarantine them first! If you just throw them in your tank, you could end up with much bigger problems than just some algae. :)
and i know algae is always gonna be there but where it is currently is an eyesore lol

If it were a lighting/sunlight issue, they'd be seeing green algae, right?
No I had the same algea on my holey rock when my lights would run for ten hours an day I cut them down to six hours a day with no plecos and the trophs will took care of some of it and in three to four days the algea was under control. think about it fish do not need light to live you want light so they look beautifull to you there will be enough natural light coming in from the window during the middle of the day run the lights for three hours in the morning when your getting ready for work shut them off all day till you get home and then turn them back on fo three or so hours that is what I did and it fixed the problem quicklyCustom Aquarium Cabinets Justin Henry 281-739-8723

where can i buy bristlenose plecos? i dont think they sell them at petsmart or petco...
