Kuhli loach is acting like he's about to die

My little brother has a 30g tank with a whisper 50 on it, The inhabitants are 7 lemon tetras, three cories, 3 pearl gouramis, 2 opaline gouramis, 1 small bichir, 2 kuhli loaches, 2 small gold veil angels and two small plecos. There's some holey rock and a HUGE bush of amazon sword as well as a plastic mangrove piece with PFS for gravel. pH is normal.

the loach is about 3 inches and was discovered today with a green tinted belly, laying on its side, having difficulty swimming.

it sounds from what the other little dudes you have in there it may be too competitive in there for it.....
