    I don't think the spot is something to worry about, it just looks like normal coloration.

    Thanks for posting your results. Have you tested the water again? Try it and see if the nitrite values have lowered. Now that you have nitrates, the nitrites should be decreasing. If not, I would do a small water change if you notice that your fish are stressed. It may prolong the cycle, but in the long run the fish will benefit.

    Are you using a dechlorinator?

      The spots were gone this morning and the darkness on the fins seems to have lessened.  If you have a rainbow guppy, it changes colors.  Sometimes the dark blue is more prominent than other times.  I did do about a 15-20% water change last night.   Yes, I am using a dechlorinator.  Since everything seems fine I will do another water test in a few days.   Thanks for the help, I think the fish will be alright.
