i already have two very active healthy parrots in a 55 gallon community tank i went and got a bubblegum pink parrot couple days ago its smaller by 1/2 inch or so from th others n e ways out it ib th tank and seemed to be scared so it hid in the corner of the tank out of view... well dats go by and i thiught it would come around to comming out from the back but it still is in the sane spot thought it might be stress due to new enviroment all test are fine... another day passes and mt female parrot has ended up in the corner of the tank with the pink one just both are sitting there almost like my older female wants to watch her take care of her my other parrots are a breeding pair thinking she thought this was one of her babies lol but she goes and checks on her all the time... the pink is still in the corner doesnt come out to eat or anything but looks relativly healthy other than a small pale color what could be wrong with her will she come around to swimming with her other tank mates? pllease help or give and idea on how to keep her out of hiding?

I read an article on the net a while back that had a similar story....the person isolated the tank completely by tossing a dark cover over the tank.....I forget how long the cover was left on.....(I got the impression it was only hours perhaps)....and when they went back to check on the fish, they were all out in the open....

Now I don't know if this action would be very helpful in your case, but it's something to think about...

You could also try moving all your decor around....change up the landscaping.....that helps alot when territorial issues arise
