  • RIP

I don't know what happened to one of my fish, but it died and I want to know if it is a contagious disease, and want to know what to do to prevent this from happening again. I looked at all my other fish and did not see the abnormality that this one had. It almost looked like some of the scales were missing and was replaced by slime. Sorry for the low quality picture.

Did the fish look like this before death? Had you noticed the symptoms progressing, or did you find the fish dead and it looked like it does in the picture?
      "Millennium hand and shrimp!"

2 Jack Dempseys, 3 Oscars, 2 more of the one that died, a pleco, and a small tiger fish (I think).

I never noticed a thing. All three of his species were very active and appeared healthy, then the one was just floating :(

I inspected all the other fish and couldn't find any signs of disease.
