Betta's skin appears to be peeling off...help!

Frac daddy started looking strange about 2 weeks ago. His underbelly appears to be peeling off and his fins are starting to change colors if that makes any sense. He does not have ich and I cannot find a picture online to help me figure out what's going on with him. He's eating blood worms but is spending a lot of time hanging off of the side of his leaf hammock which leads me to believe he may be itchy. I have tried Melafix and Malachite green and have been changing his water completely every 4 days but he's not getting better. Any advice or suggestions?

I'd say continue with the water changes and Melafix. Keep up like you have, and hopefully you'll notice a change.

Good news that he's eating!

What kind of setup do you have him in?

For how long have you had him? Any history we should know about?
