Need advice on Columnaris

I ordered 5 rainbows recently, and they have been in my quarantine tank. This morning, I noticed that one of the fish had what I thought was columnaris (it was this white cotton like stuff growing from its mouth). Anyhow, so I started dosing the quarantine tank with maracyn and maracyn 2 right away. The fish with columnaris died, but the rest of the fish look healthy. I'm guessing even if the rest of the fish look healthy, that I should still finish the maracyn and maracyn 2 regimen? According to the directions, I have 4 more days left. Advice?

I would finish it. Its just like getting meds from a doctor once you start them finish them. Not finishing them might make the Bacteria if they have it stronger if you do not finish the meds.
