I have lost three fish within the past week. The first had a very bloated stomach and the other two died for a reason Im not sure of. Maybe the dominant male beat them up. Now I have another fish that just sits on the bottom and his stomach gets bigger day by day. He has some long, stringy white/clear doo doo hanging down and he doesnt eat with the rest of the fish. All of my levels are normal, just not sure what it is. I don't have an extra tank to isolate. Could anyone offer advice?

What are you feeding? Demasoni need a veggie diet, and it sounds like you've got bloat. Swollen stomach, stringy, white poo, and self-isolation are definite signs. It's a tricky problem and can be brought on by feeding a non-veggie food to fish who are primarily veggie eaters. It can also be triggered by stress. ie - extreme aggression in the tank.
Here's a thread describing what I did recently --> http://www.houstonfishbox.com/vforums/showthread.php?42898-Tropheus-with-Dropsy-survived-what-I-did
I know it says 'Dropsy', but it's Bloat. Dropsy is what it's called when they are swollen up.
If you have some clout, use it. If not, the epson salt will definitely help as well. Epson salt is a laxative and also helps to relieve some of the fluid retention. You can get it anywhere. Walgreens, CVS, grocery store, etc.
Make sure the fish has someplace to escape and hide from the other fish. They will likely go after him since he's weak right now. If he can hide, he might just recover.Our Fishhouse

They are on NLS Cichlid formula. The other fish aren't concerned with him. I dont have clout, but I have Epsom Salt. I just did a 20% water change. Will do another tomorrow.210gPetrochromis Macrognatus Green 'Nsumbu
