ehh..so i went to check on him right after posting and he's not really breathing and started to develop ich.. i tossed him out so it wouldn't get to my other loaches and tropheus! :( he was the one loach getting harassed anyways.

im also thinkin bout getting a couple more from fish land but they are very small. possibly..1-1.5" for 4-5 bucks a piece. would they do okay with 19 tropheus about 3-4"? or should i js keep the 2 by themselves? would they be stressed?

I think it would be fine since I have baby clown loaches with my 4 in frontosas right now

Good move on flushing the damaged loach, the trauma probably would have lead to a long painful death anyways.

As for keeping clowns with tropheus it works if you like them that much, I would try and avoid keeping clowns that are larger than the trophs though and especially if the trophs are juvis. The activeness of the clowns in large groups would indeed stress out the trophs and they would also compete when it comes to feeding time.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

Sorry, is it wrong to kind of laugh a little?

sorry to hear about this, it really sucks to loose nice adults and then see what you have to replace them with. i havent seen affordable good sized clowns in a while.
