Just fyi...

I found Binox at Paradise fish and pets on pasadena blvd.  It's awesome stuff!  It colors the water yellow, but that doesn't bother me so long as the fish get well again!

Geoff must really be busy at work today.  

No other casualties since the first two.  The group was treated with 3 rounds of Metronidazole, skipped a day and currently on Tetracycline...3 rounds so far.  Prolly one more round tonight.  

After today, more water changes and turn on the charc filtration back on.  Just continue to aclimate them for a few more weeks.

These guys are sweet.

Dr.Raul...no Nurse Raul,

I am very glad to know my fish are doing great. You remember the waterchange last night?

Basically, the plan is tonight is the last treatment of Tetracyline.

Then tomorrow, 50% waterchange and install charcoal on the filters to get any remaining meds, dyes, or whatever out of the tank.

Then Saturday, will be back into the normal routine of weekly 50% waterchanges, and getting them acclimated to eating manufactured foods.

I've had them go little over a month and not eat before, so as long as it does not go that long, I am fine with their progress.

I just cannot wait till I get to bring them home and love on them.  :wink:

glad to hear that your fish are doing fine now geoff......good work on treating them i must say.....being a registered nurse i feel that way toward my fishies too....as well as my patients i take care of at work.....so cuddos to you....would like to see pics of them when you get them home dude....

It's ok to love your pets, just don't LOOooVVee your Pets :wink:

My fish, they love me.  I know they do.  They attack the glass and would swim to me, if it were not for that piece of glass... :(

Then when I lift the glass tops, they splash me with water, and leap for joy when I am there.

They dont do that when my kid is in there or when company is over.

They know who their daddy is...
