What kind of filtration are you running on this tank? sure the filters aren't the culprit?

I could house those babies for you

Was there any stress on the tank to cause this leak?

Perhaps the tank was not level -- twist is deadly for a big tank. Even if the water level in the tank is even side to side and back to back, on a long tank you can have the floor bow or sag so that the tank is unevenly supported in the center.

Had this tank been moved when not completely unloaded of gravel?

Sorry I cannot help solve the problem, but knowing why it happend may save someone else's tank.

How old was the tank and did you get it used?

With that much bio-load in a 75g I would definitely do more water changes.....probably spread them out throughout the week to not shock them too much with drastic changes.
