I think I have a cichlid with a problem.....................

I have a cichlid that looks like it has hemorroids (sp?). It (don't know if it's a male or female) has 3-4 tiny pinkish-red bubble-looking things on it's belly infront of the tail. Anyone have any idea what's going on. I've had fish on and off since 1972 and I've never seen anything like this. It eats and swims like nothing's wrong but it bothers me.

Try hitting the tank with some aquarium salt and epsom salt and see if that helps.

When I get up close with my camera, it runs behind the big rock in the corner. And what do you mean "how it's set up"?
