Hey - I posted in another thread yesterday, but I don't think anybody saw it, so I'll try again. I have a freshwater angelfish that got popeye in one eye only. He recovered, but it took a while, stunted his growth, etc. I thought he haad lost his eye. Yesterday I noticed that his eye is back. What the ...? Where did it go? What's going on? Did it recede into his head while he was sick, and take a couple of weeks to work it's way back out, or what? Does anybody know anything about this? Thanks - RC

You may have not received an answer because people may not have had an answer for you. Personally, I have never heard of anything like this, but stranger things have happened. The main thing is if your fish is healthy now, then that's good.Vicki

Thanks - I hope I didn't sound impatient. I just thought I was so far down in the thread that nobody saw it.
How did you you get your profile together so nicely? With what kind of tanks you have, and your picture in the avatar spot, and you even have the changing tank picture at the botom. If you have time could you help me, please? I can't figure out how to do anything. Thanks.5 freshwater community tanks, ranging from 55 to 20 gallons

That's definitely weird. But I can say for sure that your angel didn't regrow an eye. I can't really say much more without a photo, and even then I'm not sure I'd be able to tell you what happened, but while fish will sometime regenerate fins and scales after they are damaged, they don't regenerate eyes. Our Fishhouse

As far as your other questions, I think someone gave you a link in your other thread and then offered to answer any questions you might have. I'd rather not confuse subjects in the threads so it might be best to go back to that thread, check the link that was posted, and then ask for help with anything on which you still had questions.Vicki
