  • clown loach ich ?

Just nodiced little white spot on some of my clown loach , they are not doing any scatching on the rocks . They are acting normal and eating well. Are the fizzing ich tablets from peysmart a good idea to use . They are in a 29 gallon just did water change today. Thanks in advance.

Rid Ich would be my choice in meds.

Normally I would just dose aquarium salt/Sea salt with no anti-caking agent at 1tbsp per 5g and up the heat.

Yes, RidIch, whatever you use MUST be safe for scaleless fishes, which it is.

Agreed. For the first time ever, I used salt and an increase in temp to treat my tank for ich. Worked just as well as medication and just as quickly, with only 2 casualties (otos, and those are sensitive anyway). Couldn't believe how well it worked, and it was safe for my plants and inverts too! Cheap and effective. :)

I've gone upwards to 90 but over a length of time... think maybe within 48hrs. I would shoot for 86 to be safe and make sure you add extra water circulation/surface agitation since warmer waters hold less o2 in the water column.
