So, i got home from work today and noticed my groumi is missing some scales. I dont think its from aggression from other fish. How can i treat this? photo1.jpg
Add some salt to the tank to help promote healing. Other than that, I don't see much problem with the fish. Observe the fish at a distance for a while. If it gets worse update us!
gouramis, especially dwarfs, can be intolerant of each other. i had that happen to one and it quickly turned into a fungal infection so i had to euthanize it. just keep an eye out for other complications but he may heal.

I put 1tbsp per 5g. You can use table/sea salt that doesn't contain "anti-caking ingredient" or use the API Aquarium salt. You only add salt once per water change until the fish is healed. Salt doesn't evaporate from the water and when you do a water change you remove most of it.
