When I posted pictures people said it wasn't ick. It was more like slimy and white and it was eating the flesh.

It really depends on what kind of bacterial infection the fish has, BUT it's really hard to know for sure. Sometimes you can make an educated guess based on how it's presenting though. Since you say it looks like a fungus, it could be Columnaris. It's a tough one to combat, but it's doable. Maracyn-Two (Minocycline) is a good antibiotic for this. You can get it at Petsmart. I wouldn't use tetracycline or erythromycin for this though because those have been so overused and many bacterias don't respond to them anymore.

Why do you have to fill out a waiver form?! What's in that med?

It's the company covering their butt for the potential misuse of the med. They've got the same chemical waiver form to buy Clout and Pimafix.

HAW had Binoculars on Saturday when I helped out...

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

I read your 'binoculars' sentence 3 times before I realized it must have been auto-correct.

I lost one more fish that was weak. Down to about 8 or 9 fish. One of these has been having a terrible case of cloudy eye. I ordered some clout but hasn't made it here yet, so I've been treating with metro. The eyes are getting really clear and all fish seem to be really hungry so I think I'm done losing fish. This has been a great learning experience and I love every minute of it. I will know what to do in the future. Thanks for all of the help.
