I think my small colony is male heavy. Lots of fighting lately.

When I first received them I vented and it was what looked to be 10 males and 6 females. Now I'm not sure. I'm gonna vent on next water change.

So how many variants u have u said only 9 canary

Too many variants in one tank don't help with breeding
Unless u are using a few petros to control the males aggression

Paying $30 a fish, I couldn't really afford more than what I ordered. I ordered 7 from Greg and 15 from Turon. Lost half from Turon and we know about the Ulwile. Now I'm patiently awaiting for some more to become available. I have the Ikola in my tank with the Canary Cheek to help with aggression, but it's temporary. I want the Canary Cheeks alone.

So witch med do you think was the most effective with the parasite that you had. And how are your CC doing now. Sounds like the metro is what cured your problem. Just wanted to be sure.
