Ok here is my dilemma I am currently out of town and while talking to my wife she tells me that two of the remaining 6 ulwile have stopped eating now i may be jumping the gun but want to make sure what signs should I have her look for and if it is bloat what is most effective way of treating

The 6 WC 9 blue rainbow and 5 orange flame the blue rainbow and orange flames are between 1.5-2 inches

I would treat asap a troph that is not eating

Watch if is a female when they hold sometimes they don't go to food

But if is not holding is a red flag the quicker the better. Here we have posted few methods they can work

For me 6 WC trophs with those other trophs is not enough to spread aggression they are too small to dither.

What size of tank they are?
Ratio of the uwile?

Ok problem is Im not in town and Im going off of what wifey is describing but she says that the two that are not eating are just hiding which leads me
To believe that its an aggression issue it was 7 at first 2m 5f but one of the males died in the prime overdose issue that I had I wont know for sure until friday when I get back

No, sick fish will hide away from group as well. Whether it's due to aggression or not is another matter

What I would suggest is aggression of they are hiding and not eating. Ask the wife to look out for bloated bellies or puffed out eyes, and lathergic behavior. My gf colony of maswas took a hit due to aggressive males lost 4 females bc of the males. No meds will fix the problem but time and prayers lol. I would take the rocks out and keep the lights at a min if in fact is aggression.

^^^What he said^^^ From what you described, aggression is the problem. Since you lost one of two males, the male gets to do anything he wants. You're not in a good situation with having to travel and leaving your fish with an inexperienced tropheus keeper. Good luck

Yeah this situation sucks all the way around but I have to be here and as much as I hate to say it I can always get more fish but I cant get another child

Ok soafter talking with my wife this morning it seems as though the fish are fine as long as the lights are off but as soon as she turns the lights on the male goes on the rampage she hasn't noticed any other issues with the fish though

OK, so it's aggression. Need more fish in there, and even more flow to work them out.

Aggression for sure you need to add 20 more troph to be ok now once that male starts being aggressive is hard to control
