hey gang, i have a green severum that is probably 7 or 8 yrs old, anyways, his left eye where the pupil is is white and kinda weird looking. any ideas., i been researchin and cant figure out what it is. there are so many things it could be i feel like a hypocondriac.. lol. what yal think, i been tryin to get a pic for ilke an hour but it wont turn out on his eye. what yall think it could be??

well yes and no. its his pupil that is white. thanks for the site. im gonna read all of them real good and i gotta go look at his eye again while i read it. thats a great find for sites though. thanks by the way what is a gold occies???Comment

They stay small. Males max out around 2-2.5 inches while females are slightly smaller. No idea where to get them in Houston. I think Zulaab got his from Mike's Tropical Fish.

I got mine from Dave at Daves Rare Fish in San Antonio. Right now I have 5 and I am looking early next year to see if I can add another 5 to the tank.. I had originally 7 but two died after a couple of days but the rest has stayed healthy and they are eating like its going out of style (NLS 1mm is your friend)
Mine right now look identically to the picture you see.. they are about 1in in length.. They should double in size by fall 2008.. They are slow growers :)
