  • Wild caught Lwanda with tumor on mouth

My wild caught Lwanda has a tumor growing on its mouth. I have been watching it someone told me it was just an injury from running into the glass all the time. Could be but I'm not 100% positive. He is having a very hard time eating I am worried about him starving to death. Anyone have any ideas of food choices that can help

Have you been soaking his food in garlic?
    All bleeding stops eventually...

Yes I have when I got an ick case in the tank about 2 months ago when this popped up. It was using garlic guard. Some food I use has it in it also. Do you think it's an allergy to garlic?

Try some live food... Cut up night crawlers or whole ones... Wax worms are good too! My fish won't eat pellets or flakes now, they want night crawlers or guppies

Sent from my corner of the tank!

You can get night crawlers at Walmart in the fishing area. I think they have them for less the 3.00 for like 25 of them

I'm feeding him mysis shrimp with kanaplex and focus in the food.

Update I lost my Lwanda this morning he had been sick for 3 months with a growth on the inside of his mouth. He pretty much starved to death. I'm glad I have about 200 juveniles from him so I can keep another male out of them.
