  • Fish dying one by one

In the garage I have a two tier stand and on the bottom is a 30L with a bunch of fish for my kids. Guppies, swordtails, and mollies that I'm not too concerned about. Its on their level where they can see them easily and feed them and my fish are higher up out of reach. A while back the swordtails started dying off one by one. No illness. No signs of fighting. Just a single dead fish at a time. Finally the other day my wife caught my son sneaking out there and when she followed him he had a fish in his hand and was squeezing the dickens out of it while holding it up and saying "Caught fish!"

Noodling is when you catch catfish by sticking your arm in holes along the banks of a river. Its generally a very redneck thing to do... and I may have to modify the pond in the backyard so he can practice LOL

My son turns 3 in July. He's thrown all sorts of things in my tanks so far but the coolest was a glow in the dark toy frog. I left that one in there for a while.

How did that turn out? Was everything OK or did the tank crash?
