  • blue acara not eating

hello yall I have a 20g fw tank with 2 german blue rams, 6 rasboras and a blue acara. here in the last few weeks he hasn't eatin anything at all. I usually feed blood worms, beefheart, and tetra color bits a couple times a day. I do a 50 percent water change every 10 days or so. what is a good way to treat this? I assume its some sort of parasite but I don't know...........................I do mind my manners so thanks will be given to any responses!!!

Sometimes it's constipation. Sometimes it's mood. I've had alpha males go weeks without eating but they would terrorize the other fish. Epsom salt added to a water change helps with constipation issues.

its been real shy lately. not eager at all at feeding time usually goes and hides. no droopiness and no fin damage at all. the only thing visually is a caved in stomach..

Try a garlic based food. Some times that will get them eating. if it doesn't it could be IP.
