Ich / heater help!

I want to turn my tank up to 86F. It is at 78 right now . How many degrees a day can I turn it up to get there ? Or can I just turn it up to 86F ?

Just turn it up. It will take all day or more to get it to 86. Some heaters will not get to 86.
The heat will help.

Mine goes up about 2 degrees a hour.

Just stopped a nasty bout of ICH in my Ikola fry tank.
Lost more than half, added epsom salts turned up temp to 86Deg and it's been like that
for 10 days haven't lost any since...

I did the same I added 5ml salt and turned up to 86 for a month...
