  • Tropheus Disease Please help

    One of my WC tropheus have a symptom of thin head and body. She is active and eat well but don't know how the head and body get thin. I read some and I know she have worm. Does any one have the same problem please help. ( Some treat with Bendazole, if someone use it please let me know does it work and how to use it ) Please help & thank you.

    Sounds lik parasite. Try some prazipro. My go to meds are bifuran and metro but bifuran is really expensive now.

      Bifuran is an antibiotic.

      Hung, use Tetra Parasite guard. That's my med of choice for internal parasites. I'm surprised that your treatment of food soaked in clout is not working.

        Also, some fish are like that and don't respond to meds at all. Could be a really old fish since it's WC.

          This is a new group tropheus so they don't like pellet they just eat the ken's flake only don't want nothing else so I cant feed them like my Red Rainbow the food soaked with clout. Also they like ken's med but I still have a trouble .
          I will go to walmart or petsmart tomorrow to get some Tetra Parasite guard. Thank you Sunny.

              Thank you Morgan , I read the Prazipro and I think it is good stuff for worm I will order some from Drsmith tomorrow and I hope it arrive soon, in the mean while I will treat them with Tetra Parasite guard tomorrow because they have in local store.

                  Ikola WC just have last Christmas. All healthy and fat some holding right now. tell the truth the fish sick, she holding last 3 weeks ago but not successful and now she have thin head and body. I don't know why but I do 30% water change every 2 days.

                    Give her time. My Lueba colony were all like that and it took me almost 3 months to get them healthy and now I have one holding from last weekend
