Loaches with ich! Where to find diatom filter??

Called Mike - Mikes Tropical fish - no luck there
Tried City Pets - none there

Anyone seen one anywhere for sale??

My angelicus botias (polka dot botias) have a light case of it and I'd like to wipe it out before it wipes them out.  I've been told diatom filter is the best way to go.  I only learned that last week and have been looking to pick one up, but now the search has taken on a more frantic pace.

Help would be SOOOO appreciated!

Is not the filter that looks like a car air filter, if so, they have the magnum type at petco or petsmart, for about 70.00 or so....and dont' forget to try and raise the temp too...

I've read that you can use the magnums and put diatom powder in them and they'll act as one.  I have a magnum, but no diatom media.

if you see ich on ur loaches its probably too late.  but i have used Kordon Rid Ich on my loaches before 3 or 4 times and didnt hurt them at all.

I'm not sure, but I know pool stores sell diatomatious earth for cleaning pools???

Spot,

I have a magnum with a slightly used D filter, you can clean it and use if for free if you want to drive up here to get it.

I have a hot magnum - was going to tear it down and use it, but really didn't want to so I just went out and bought another one.
