    Re: Is my puff sick?

He appeared to be trying to cough something up today. However when i got home from work he did eat! it appeared again to be taking alot of work to get to the top of the tank.

    Thanks Chris for the Clout!

FshFrk, what problems have you had with Mbus, and what suggestions would you have.

      Re: Is my puff sick?

I would drive over to fish r us and talk to that tall italian guy. real nice man and he knows his stuff.they got a huge puffer in there. a girl that worked a couple years ago showed me a article about how most puffers are killed by over feeding  alex took in a 12" puffer from a lady to try to nurse it back to health. couple years ago. it had eatin a crawfish and got lodged in it's stomach. you could see a big bump on the side of the fish. it did not make it. she was extremly upset over that fish dying. I don't have a good record with these fish. they are real easy to get attatched too.

        Re: Is my puff sick?

I'll keep that in mind. As fun as it is to feed crawfish I think i'll stop. However I don't believe it got lodged anywhere as he ate well for several days after eating the crawfish.

He is doing much better today already. Excited again to see me and ate a shrimp. no gag reflex this time.

Saw him huffing and puffing this evening,  and still not as active.

Just saw a puffer poo and it was free of anything resembling parasites

                            Re: Is my puff sick?

IM HOME! Puff was excited to see me and ate 3 shrimp. Unfortunetly my canister died the night before and siphoned quite a bit of water out of the tank. House smelled like mildew yesterday and this morning and now only smells like bleach!

I have a large sponge filter on it now till I find something.

I was having a hard time finding out what was wrong with the puff then I found this and it explained everything.

OK. i know it's mean, but its funny
