I have had this fish in my 72 gallon for 3 days and noticed the first day that he had a small white spot on the tail and have been keeping an eye on it. This morning I saw what appears to be a white line extending through the white spot in the tail. I don't believe it is ick but he has been moved to a 10 gallon sick tank that I just set up. If anyone can help identify this and how to treat I would greatly appreciate it! Also the sick tank is brand new and Im not sure how many days I could treat with meds without a water change for fear of ammonia spike. How do people deal with this issue? thanks in advance!
