IMO you might be feeding too much and the lights are on for too long....the moonlights contribute to that as well.

When I had my Mobas the only lighting the tank go was moonlights and I noticed that diatoms would cover the glass right were the moonlights directly shined onto.

the emycin worked for a couple weeks
this crap came back.  i left the lights off for 1 week.  no algae.  though sweet.  well soon as i turn on the light,  like within a day or 2 its comin back.  i cleaned,  i cut back feeding,  i evan net out left over food from the puffers, do water changes,  cut back on the lights, water parameters are perfect.  whats the deal.  its black and green stuff.  could it have something to do with that it use to be a saltwater tank?  doubt it cause my other tanks that were salt dont have no isssues.  whats the deal.  im sick of this

Uh oh... that's not good. That means that the first infestation was not fully taken care of. Which means that this outbreak will probably be harder to eradicate because the bacteria may have built up resistance to the antibiotics.

You can try again and hope that it works again this time.. but remember to continue treating for a week even after you don't see it anymore.

Otherwise... short of draining and cleaning the the tank, i'm out of ideas....
Perhaps someone else can chime in.
