i have a 100gl plant tank and some of the fishes have icks should i medicate the whole tank or quarantine the one with ick and medicate since it a planted tank i have a hard time catching them and should i bring up the temp above 80 afraid it will put to much tress to the fishes............poor fish

Heat is a must to combat ick. If you raise the temp slowly, they will adjust....Also, depends on how many are infected..if its a few remove to a quarantine and raise temp there...if its the majority the entire tank needs treatment, I'd say. -

yeah a few fish just die.....the whole tank is medicated now... last time i have ick only a few strong one survive...hope they all survive this timeComment

Just be sure to follow the instructions on whichever medication you're using, and treat for as long as it says.
You mentioned a quarantine tank...did you just recently add new fish to the tank? Did you QT them first?"Millennium hand and shrimp!"Comment
