Prime is the way to go! As Zulaab as stated....prime is cheap in the long run and its quality stuff.

To resolve all problems pre-treating a barrel of water is the way to go.

You could just aerate a barrel of water and end up with the same and for a lot cheaper.

yeah that's what I mean.  Just put a pump in there and it'll be good without any chlorine remover.

            Re: !!!!!!!!Chlorine!!!!!!!!!

Just remember that it takes about 4-6 days for the Chlorine to degrade from the ammonia compound that makes up Chloramine.  This is why its being added into the tanks by the city so that it can sit for a day or two in the storage tanks before used.   It will slowly break down, and you end up with water that has ammonia in it.  Some people have in the past posted that their water contains ammonia in it when coming from the tap, this is the "by-product" of Chloramine, ie the water has been in storage longer than the average 1-2 days.   Some people report that larger amounts of Chlorine is noticed after a rain storm, this is also caused by people not watering their lawns after a rain storm and the Chlorine amount collects in the tanks at a higher volume.  Then there is the factor that the water treatment plants adds more into their tanks after a rain fall too.

This is what I have been reading lately about water.   Both Prime and Amquel have chemicals in them that bonds with Chlorine and Ammonia.  This will remove all three products Clorine, Ammonia and Chloramine.
