Gills "looks like an air bubble"

So my Angels were fighting the other day. I just went to turn off the lights and this air buble looking thing is coming out of one of his gills. Is there anything that can be done? I tried to get a good picture but can't right now. What do you think?? Thanks

Is he acting like he is in any pain? When did they fight? If you get the chance to take a good picture that would be alot of help.
