Best time to cure them is at the early stage, I'll watch whose eating and whose not everyday. Did this last week to my Ikola and was not eating and was pooping white so he got isolated to my hospital tank and treated him with clout and did my water changes and he got better within a week. Just try to catch them asap!

I caught bloat in one of my Chilambo's about 3 weeks ago and I dosed the hell out of the tank with epsom salt, within a week the swelling had gone down and the fish was eating again, today I cannot tell which fish it was that caught it. I am out of metro and because I dont have enough clout on hand to handle more than 1 medication of it in my 180, I was praying hard it would not take the tank. But I caught it in time (they are my babies I look at them all the time) and I would not say epsom salt will cure it, I was lucky it was a simple blockage and with the epsom salts it was cleared out and she is back in good health now.
